Timeline and checklist for event planning from Anna Brown
Checklists are a very important part in organising and planning an event. They enable you to organise plan and evaluate everything you have to do. This in turn makes sure that all deadlines are met so that nothing gets left which could have an impact to the efficiency of the event planning and something on the actual day of the event would be missing and the event would not be as successful as it could have been.
I have added some specific things that need to be done to make sure that the efficiency of the event planning is of the highest standard possible. For example, Agree and discuss programme agenda which our event manager will lead. This is crucial part in planning any event as it allows every member of the Event Management team understand and know in advance what is happening and when which in turn creates efficacy and effective planning that is initiated and completed on time. I have also added a lot of re confirming stages towards the end of the process. This is really important as even though you have created checklists for everything some things might have been thought of after the check list was created and some things may have been forgotten. So therefor checking a week in advance if everything is done or nearing completion is a good way to make sure that your event is going to be the best it could be.
